How It Works

Bromocriptine is a dopamine agonist and prolactin inhibitor.
It:

Warning 1:
Not recommended for premenstrual symptoms or benign breast disease due to lack of proven efficacy.

Warning 2:

Avoid using with vasoconstrictors (e.g., sympathomimetics, ergometrine) during the puerperium due to risk of severe hypertension or vascular events.
