How It Works

Anafortan Plus contains:

• Phloroglucinol and Trimethylphloroglucinol, which act directly on smooth muscles in the gastrointestinal and urogenital tracts.

Indications

Anafortan Plus is indicated for the relief of spasmodic conditions such as:

• Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
• Diarrhea- or dysentery-related spasms
• Renal colic
• Biliary colic
• Dysmenorrhea (painful periods)
• Delayed labor

Dosage

• Active Ingredients: Phloroglucinol + Trimethylphloroglucinol

Side Effects

Common:

• Constipation
• Dry mouth
• Flushing and dry skin
• Urinary urgency or retention
• Dilated pupils, photophobia (light sensitivity), and blurred vision

Occasional:

• Nausea, vomiting, giddiness
• Confusion (especially in the elderly)

Rare:

• Transient bradycardia followed by tachycardia, palpitations, arrhythmias
• Very rarely: angle-closure glaucoma

Drug Interactions
