How it Works:
Ibuprofen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that works by reducing the
hormones that cause inflammation and pain in the body. It also lowers fever by acting on the
brain’s heat-regulating center.

Dosage:
Ibuprofen (exact dose and frequency should be as directed by a physician, especially in children)
Side Effects:
 Nausea, vomiting, or loss of appetite

Indications:
Brufen 120ml is indicated for the treatment of:
 Rheumatoid arthritis, juvenile arthritis (Still’s disease)
 Ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis
 Non-rheumatoid arthropathies and acute gout
 Periarticular conditions (bursitis, tendonitis, frozen shoulder)
 Soft tissue injuries, low back pain
 Mild to moderate pain (e.g. menstrual pain, dental pain, postoperative pain)
 Headache and migraine relief
 Fever management in children and adults
When Not to Use:
Do not use if allergic to ibuprofen or any other NSAIDs. Avoid in patients with:
 A history of gastrointestinal bleeding or ulcers
 Severe heart, kidney, or liver disease
 Known bleeding disorders
 Active or suspected infection without medical supervision
Brufen 120ml Precautions:
 Ibuprofen may mask signs of infection; monitor for fever, swelling, or redness.
 Use with caution in children, elderly patients, and those with existing medical conditions.
