Calamox 90 mL is used for the treatment of bacterial infections, including those caused by
beta-lactamase–producing organisms. Common indications include:
 Respiratory tract infections
 Otitis media
 Sinusitis
 Urinary tract infections
 Skin and soft tissue infections
4. Mechanism of Action
 Amoxicillin: A penicillin-type antibiotic that inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis,
leading to cell death.
 Clavulanic Acid: A beta-lactamase inhibitor that prevents the breakdown of
amoxicillin by resistant bacteria, thus enhancing its effectiveness.

7. Drug Interactions

 Acenocoumarol or warfarin (increased bleeding risk)
