2. Mechanism of Action
 Cefadroxil is a first-generation cephalosporin antibiotic.
 It is bactericidal, inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis by inactivating transpeptidase
(a penicillin-binding protein), which disrupts the cross-linking of peptidoglycan in the
cell wall—leading to cell lysis.

4. Side Effects
 Common:
o Gastrointestinal: diarrhea, nausea, vomiting
