⚙️ How It Works:
Cefixime is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic that kills bacteria by binding to
penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs) inside their cell wall. This blocks the final step of bacterial
cell wall synthesis, leading to cell death (bactericidal effect).
